THE DAILY REPORT:
A number of new retailers are set to open in Prairieville. The Ultima Plaza Shopping Center on Old Perkins Road and Airline Highway will include Ultima Fitness Center, New Orleans Original Daiquiris, Great Beginnings Coffee, a discount tobacco and cigar store, China Chef, Peerless Cleaners and Papasito's Mexican restaurant, said Mark Hebert of Kurz & Hebert Commercial Real Estate. Hebert, who is leasing the project, said an undisclosed pizza restaurant and diner also would be in the center, which is next to All-Star Ford. Ultima's center will encompass 25,000 square feet; the rest of the shopping center will be at least 20,000 square feet. The shopping center is already under construction. |
