(The Business Report 5/16/06) A Fort Worth, Texas-based real estate development and investment group has purchased an empty lot on Siegen Lane for $1.4 million and may build a Starbucks and a bank on the site. N3 Capital bought the 1.4 acre lot in a deal that closed about three weeks ago. The lot is in front of Academy Sports, between Raising Cane's and Arby's. Mark Hebert of Kurz & Hebert Commercial Real Estate, who brokered the deal, says Starbucks has proposed a coffee shop for the site and N3 is talking to a bank about a branch and drive through window. The plan is to begin construction in the next three months. Starbucks has 12 locations in the metro area, including a shop in the Super Target a few hundred yards south of the vacant lot. < back to news
